Interesting! i really enjoyed the beginning of this animation.... when it got closer to the ending the drawings and animation got a bit lazier looking. That's my only criticism. But yea the music fit well with what was going on. I liked the walk cycle for both characters too.
Cool, I enjoyed this. It kinda felt a bit short. I liked the transformations and how he progressively became happier and more lively near the end when he evolves into a dinosaur. Good choice of music too!
Thank you for enjoying it. It was actually going to be a little longer with anoutjer evolution but I had to take that out for time reasons unfortunately.
There's a certain charm to your style that I love! especially in this animation here. I enjoy your use of 8 bit sound bits, keep on making awesome work. It stands out from the crowd for sure
Thanks dude! I've found a lot possibilities to experiment mixing 'real' recorded sounds and 8-bit/low fi sounds :)
Seriously, why are all of the levels locked? I'm interested in playing this game, but where the heck do I begin?
Interesting, but I can't seem to get into it. I didn't even know what I was doing half the time and seemed to just sort of win or loose. Nice use of dialogue though, it kind of keeps you on you're toes at all times. neat concept
I thought the concept was really neat. I absolutely love the simplistic art style and the music was well put together. While it was interesting, somehow I felt like coming across each object in the game was sort of by chance. For example, in my first playthrough I couldn't find the pink tree and I was literally just wandering for minutes at a time until I gave up, but then in my second playthrough I just took a few steps to the left like I would've done in my first playthrough and boom! the tree appeared immediately
Honestly though, this game was inspiring to me. It feels like you could add more to the concept of stopping, listening, and finding out where to go. I don't have any ideas that come to mind, but it feels like a small idea that could have a lot of uses for a future title, if ever you decide to make a sequel or whatever.
once again, awesome game :)
Oh my god you fricking nailed it! this is awesome! are you planning on painting it? :)
